1. The author, Tim Green, is the narrator and he point of view is third person.

2. The authors mood is trying to show how you should always stand upf for what you believe in.

3. The author project feels like this is something that needed to be said/written to show people how important it is to believe in yourself and be confident in what you say/do.

In the book the main character gets taken to a place where he doesn't want to go. In the book he goes to a "haunted" fishcamp", with criminals. I can relate to this because I recently had to go with my mom to a weird place even though I didn't want to go. I didn't go with any criminals, but I kind of felt like a criminal being held captive.

Rivals

Pg. 21, chpt. 4
"In an instant before release of the ball, Josh sensed something wrong. As it left Planczeck's hand, Jaden's words blasted fresh through his mind, mixing with disbelief. He'd Ben thinking fastball, high, but the laces told him curve. Josh hesitated for a fraction of a second, and it was too long. The pitch struck him in the face. Josh saw stars and felt his body spin for just a split second before everything went fuzzy."

The book I'm reading is called, "Rival." It's about this kid named Josh who is a amazing baseball player, and he is in a tournament with his team that they have to win in order to go to a once in a life time tournament in Cooperstown. So in the last game of the first tournament he hits three home runs the first three time batting, but during the fourth at bat the pitcher hits him in the face with the pitch. He was able to get a free base but he wanted to hit instead. He ended up hitting another homerun, and made a great play on defense after to help win the game. But a bone in his eye was fractured and now he faces the tough decision of letting nature take its course or having surgery.
